Terms of Use

Card generation and answer grading run on Google's Gemini API using your own API key. You're responsible for that key, for any usage or costs Google charges against it, and for following Google's API terms. Study Gate doesn't proxy, resell, or subsidize AI usage.

Keep it a place people actually want to study. Don't:

• Falsify or automate stats to game the leaderboard, or script requests to flood the service.
• Put hateful, harassing, illegal, or infringing content in a username, display name, bio, deck, or club.
• Attempt to break authentication, access other people's accounts, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission.
• Upload material you don't have the right to use when generating or publishing decks.

We may suspend or remove accounts, decks, or clubs that violate these rules, or that abuse the service, at our discretion.

You keep ownership of the decks you create. When you publisha deck to the library, you grant other users permission to import and study a copy of it. You can unpublish at any time, which stops new imports; copies already imported into someone's extension remain on their device.

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Pick a password you don't use elsewhere. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Study Gate is provided “as is,”for free, with no warranty of any kind. It's a study aid, not a guarantee of any academic outcome, and it isn't professional, medical, or legal advice. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated cards and grades are always accurate. Always check important material against your source.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Study Gate and its maintainers aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, lost study time, or charges incurred on your own AI key.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the “last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
